IMPACT Network Meeting
Making the best use of funding to develop disability related provision and initiatives
This extremely well received event took place at Wolverhampton Science Park on 7 November 2008. Presentations addressed considerations, success factors, potential funding sources and developing a successful proposal. Delegates explored ideas they wished to develop into funding proposals with the use of a proforma.
We were grateful to Janye Taghzouit, University of Hull, and Angela Jones University of Essex who provided useful examples of funded projects from their own HEIs. Also to Helen May of the Higher Education Academy for an extremely useful insight into the key factors that funders look for in successful proposals.
